930 Lightweight Clutch Adapter Set - (1978-1988) PORSCHE 930 Turbo 4-Speed to (1976-1977) Porsche 911 Turbo Carrera, earlier, "low profile" pressure plate covers. Designed to replace the original ~25 Lbs. clutch pressure plate. Two part set includes machined billet stainless steel release bearing adapter & aluminum starter ring gear adapter. If you are looking for more quicker response and less boost lag from your Porsche 930 turbo then this is the kit for you! These adapter parts are specially designed for use with the lightweight, low profile clutch pressure plate covers to reduce mass. The starter ring gear adapter extension simply stacks on top of the early original 911 Turbo Carrera clutch pressure plate and provides the proper starter ring gear offset. Then the clutch release bearing adapter extension simply snaps into and replaces the original release bearing ears. All original hardware is used.
