| LIGHTWEIGHT FLYWHEEL & CLUTCH SYSTEMS - Engine stalling issues with Motronic DME | Porsche 911, 964 & 993 DME models equipped with the earlier Motronic control units can experience engine stalling issues on cars equipped with a lighter mass flywheel & clutch systems.
High Performance and racing applications for MY 1990-1995 using Motronic DME with E-prom chips, due to engine idle control variances, adjustment is advised. Motronic chip programming is achieved by replacing the E-Prom chip with one that is modified. This involves simply unplugging and re-plugging a socket-ed chip. In addition to adjustment of proper idle control, the chips programming can be matched to the engine's performance aspiration and modifications. | COOL SHIRT SYSTEMS | Cool Shirt® contains more than 45 feet of medical grade capillary tubing securely stitched on the front and back of the shirt. The Resposable Poncho is made from material containing a network of channels that the cooled water flows through. They are both connected to a compact cooling unit via insulated hose with quick, dry disconnects. The cooling unit contains ice, water and an internal pump that supplies cool water to the Cool Shirt® as it covers up to 40% of the body. |

PATRICK MS billet steel production flywheels include certified high resolution balancing. With clutch cover and ring gear combined, the assembly, balancing and indexing are completed with no added cost! WHY? Proper balancing can prevent vibration, heat build-up, and prolong bearing life. High-RPM applications require critical tolerances to prevent failures at inopportune moments. Properly balanced components in racing applications can be critical when it comes to whether one will stand on the podium or not! There are countless applications in automotive balancing - especially when racing is taking place. Crank balancing is the most often thought of application, but any rotating part, such as flywheels, clutches, pulleys, camshafts, brake rotors, fans, etc. can benefit from proper balancing. |
